Saturday January 12, 2019 was the 22nd Christmas Bird Count done at The
Sea Ranch.
With a break in the winter weather, ten teams fanned out to scare up the
birds. Intrepid birders went on foot and by car.
Counts covered all of the habitats from forest ridge, to meadows, to the
bluff and ocean beyond.
A wrap-up meeting was held to share good sightings, funny stories, learn
from each other and learn which birds we missed and should still watch for
in the count week.
