2018 Circumambulation
The Trails Committee's 21st annual Circumambulation was held Saturday, September 1st, a wonderful, pleasant sunny day. 109 hikers participated in at least one segment of the walk and thirty-five people hiked the entire 21 miles. Some even did the walk backwards by walking the Bluff trail first and finishing up going through the forest (AKA the Cric - Circ spelled backwards). 36 dozen cookies were baked for the hikers and 32 dozen were consumed. Not as much water was drunk this year since the weather was quite a bit cooler than last year. All in all it was a great day to see old friends, make new friends and have a good hike. Here are a selection of pictures taken during the Circ - just look at all the happy faces!
